We are waiting for the launch of the REXUS 9 sounding rocket. The apogee height foreseen is of 81.3 km and the launch date should be Tuesday the 22nd of February... we all hope for the best!

Kiruna: day 3

Good morning world!
Today we have performed three complete flight simulation on the ground bench. After that, every team has moved to the scientific office, to perform a complete flight simulation, with the foreseen ground station equipment.

Launch Campaign: here we go!

And in the end...here comes the launch! After more than one year of work, tomorrow morning we are flying to Kiruna to see our experiment on board REXUS sounding rocket.
We'll use a live stream channel, so that anyone can see us during our days at Esrange. If you are curious about SPONGE, then just watch us!!!

Hi guys! Today still working on our electronics...yesterday we verified the final design of the locking system and now we just have to perform the final tests before vibrating SPONGE.

Hi Guys, today we' ve been working with Andrea Scapin. We have drilled the holes for the cameras, mounted the camera supports, the slip ring on its housing, the sponge inside the tank.
We have mounted the plates within our module and tomorrow together with Fabio we'll mount the electronic boards.

Today and yesterday we've been drilling the holes on the bulkhead and platforms.
This afternoon we are going to assembly the electronic boards on the bulkhead.
